Our Route Across the Great Divide!
In May 2014, we plan to embark on an unsupported bike tour from Antelope Wells, New Mexico to Roosville, Montana. By the end of the journey we'll have traversed over 2500 miles, climbed 200,000 feet of elevation (that's Mount Everest 7 times!) and probably eaten more peanut butter than the average person eats in a lifetime. Our route is planned out by AdventureCycling.org, and will consist mostly of off road dirt and gravel paths that crisscross the continental divide, an area rich in beautiful mountain scenery and one of the last truly wild places in the country. The ultimate goal of this trip is to spread awareness and raise money for people suffering with RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) a currently incurable nerve disease characterized by chronic, debilitating pain.
